Funeral service for SFC (Retired) John T. Coffman will be at 2:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2018 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Highland Cemetery.

John T. Coffman, 91, Lawton passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the Lawton/Fort Sill Veterans Center.  He was born January 29, 1927 in Prue, Oklahoma to Thomas Lawson and Mamie (Lay) Coffman.   He married Lula M. Sisco on June 5, 1948 in Sabine, TX.  She passed away September 23, 2008.  Sergeant Coffman served in the US Army during WW II, Korea and Vietnam, retiring in May of 1969.  He earned numerous awards and honors during his military career.  Following his retirement he worked 10 years for L.D. White Construction as a carpenter, building homes.  He then worked for Braum's in Tuttle for 12 years before finally retiring.  He stayed fairly active in his life well into his 80's.

He is survived by his son Dennis R. Coffman of Lawton.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
