Funeral for SFC (Retired) Jerry Wyllie, 74, Lawton will be at 9:30 AM Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jim Coe officiating. Sgt. Wyllie died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Lawton. Burial with military honors will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. He was born February 10, 1939 in Sigourney, Iowa to Theodore A. and Evelyn M. (Klett) Wyllie. He was raised in Sigourney and attended Sigourney High School graduating in 1957. He married Nittaya Murray on December 4, 1995 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He entered the Army and served in the Signal Corps and Military Police, retiring after twenty years of service. He was employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for seventeen years. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for two years and then returned to Lawton. His hobbies included shooting trap and skeet, playing amateur league billiards, boating and traveling. He is survived by his wife of the home.
