Age 60, Lawton - Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 pm at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bobby Boyles, Southern Baptist Evangelist, officiating. Sergeant Allen died Thursday at his home Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Sergeant Allen was born October 1, 1948 in Clinton, Arkansas to Lyn B. and Vivian J. (Andrews) Allen. He married Connie Taylor on April 26, 1967 in Wasco, California. He served in the Army at Fort Sill and in Germany for over 21 years before retiring. He then drove a cross country truck for many years. In August he and some friends rode their motorcycles to Wyoming's Yellowstone Park and back. He is survived by his wife of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, David M. and Rebecca Allen of Lawton; 4 grandchildren, David M. Allen, Jr., Taylor Q. Allen, Victoria G. Allen and Krysten A. Allen; his father of Bakersfield, California; and a sister, Donna and her husband Clifford Warden of Bakersfield, California. His mother; 2 sons, Michael L. Allen and Daniel L. Allen; a grandson, Jonathan M. Allen and a sister, Barbara A. Johnson preceded him in death.
