Age 82, Lawton - Services will be 11:30 AM Tuesday at Western Hills Christian Church with Dave Menge, pastor officiating. Sgt Jensen died Wednesday in Lawton. Burial with full military honors will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born September 15, 1927 in Skive Jylland, Denmark to Jens Vestergaard Boel and Ida Johanna (Petersen) Jensen. He married Lucile McDaniel on February 7, 1951 in Lee County, Georgia. Sgt Jensen spent twenty six years in the U.S. Air Force and Army. He graduated from Cameron University in 1980. He then worked for the Department of Human Services as a case manager for the Development Disability Department Office in Lawton until he retired in 1989. He was a member of Western Hills Christian Church since 1978. Survivors include his wife, of the home, six children and their spouses, Erik, Jr. and Pamela Jensen, Georgia, Dennis and Ingrid Jensen, Sterling, Priscilla and Victor Aguilar, Hawaii, Jacqueline and Destry Blancett, Cache, Karl and Tracey Jensen, Texas and Barbara and Ted Holcombe, Lawton, sixteen grandchildren and their spouses, Erik Jensen, III, David and Sala Jensen, Stephanie and Brian Abel, Shirley and Ken DeValle, Kristen and Jay Patterson, Virginia Aguilar, Christopher Aguilar, Kevin Aguilar, Kimberly Aguilar, Dexter Blancett, Mary Jensen, Jason Jensen, Peter Jensen, Joshua Jensen, Scott and Brittany Holmstrom and Todd Holmstrom, six great grandchildren, Damen Jensen, Alyssa Jensen, David Jensen, Jr., Bryant Abel, Brekkan Abel and Issac DeValle and a brother, Sven Gerner Vestergaard, Viborg, Denmark. He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Michelle Blancett.
