SFC (Retired) Alan Scott Brown passed away on February 20, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Alan dedicated over 22 years of honorable service to his country. His military career took him all over the world, and one of his most cherished assignments was overseeing communications aboard Air Force One. He retired from the Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and chose to plant his roots in Lawton.

Following his military retirement, Alan continued serving the Fort Sill community as the I.T. Lead for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), a role he faithfully fulfilled until his retirement in 2010.
