Funeral for SCPO (Retired) Dale Smith will be 9:30 A.M. in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial with military honors will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

SCPO (Retired) Dale Smith, age 71, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was born October 19, 1952 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Claude Elmer and Ruth LeJoyce (Young) Smith.  He graduated from Lawton High School in 1971.  He joined the Navy in 1971 and served for twenty-six years.

He is survived by his wife Judith P. Smith, two daughters, Jennifer and Gina, brother, Doug Smith, sister, Georgia Smith, six grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers, Charles Smith and David Smith.
