Funeral service for Sandra Marie Darling will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Larry Landtroop, Aspire Hospice, officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Sandra Marie Darling, age 73, Lawton, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born July 4, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Lemuel Bennett and Mollie Pauline Norred.  Sandra grew up in Dallas and moved to Lawton as a teenager, attending Lawton schools.  She returned to Dallas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.  Sandra had worked many places in both Texas and Oklahoma.

She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards and fishing.  She had been a member of the Lawton Philharmonic and had served as vice president for two years.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and David Dinapolis, Covington, Louisiana; her son, Rob Darling, Lawton; four grandchildren, Randall Paul Mook, Samantha DeLapp, David Anthony Dinapolis and Brenna Dinapolis; two great grandchildren; and her brother, Ronny Norred, Uvalde, Texas.

Her parents and a son, Randy Whitney, preceded her in death.
