Age 75, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Harley Davidson, officiating. Mrs. Ellis died Wednesday in Lawton. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. A Buddhist prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. She was born January 1, 1933 in Sendi, Japan. She grew up in Japan and graduated high school there. She married Morris B. Ellis, Sr. on July 27, 1953 in Fukuoka, Japan. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2004. She came to the United Sates following her marriage and was a homemaker. She was a Buddhist, a member of the Fuji Club, the NCO Wive's Club and the Thunderbird Bowling Association. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Alfred Ellis, Lawton; Maureen Ellis, Baltimore, Maryland, Viola Fountain, Jacksonville, Florida, Morris B. Ellis, Jr. and wife Lesa, Marion, Illinois, Ronnie and Nancy Ellis, Lawton, Bobby and Sherrie Ellis, Lawton, and Pamela and Jason White, Lawton; 11 Grandchildren, Shane Love, Dee Smith, Justin Ellis, Noah Ellis, George Fountain, II, Greg Fountain, Amy Ross, Jon Ross, Derrick Ellis, Brandon Ellis and Jalon White; four great grandchildren, Audrey, Makayla and Justin Ellis, Jr and Jaden Ellis.; her mother and one brother. A son, Morris B. Ellis, Jr., preceded her in death.
