Funeral service for Ruth E. Henkelmann, 79, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Mike Suiter, Chaplain, Aspire Hospice officiating. Mrs. Henkelmann died Monday in Lawton. Burial will be in the Spring Brook Cemetery in the Town of Pine River, Wisconsin. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Henkelmann was born June 2, 1933 in Berlin, Germany. She married CW2 (Retired) Elgart E. Henkelmann on September 5, 1960 at Wiesbaden, Germany. He preceded her in death in 1978. She came to the United States in 1962 from Germany and spent her life as a homemaker. She was a Lutheran. She is survived by a two sisters in law, Janice Henkelmann and Lorraine Eastburn and a nephew Michael Engelke. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Walter and a sister, Annelis Walter.
