Funeral service for Ruth Chadwick will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Ruth Chadwick, age 80, of Lawton, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in Lawton.  She was born August 30, 1940 in Lawton to Cedric and Alice (Tinkham) Caldwell.  Mrs. Chadwick grew up in Medicine Park, Oklahoma.  She married Gerald Wallace "Corky" Chadwick on June 14, 1958 in Lawton.  He died July 1, 2019.  She was a teacher with Lawton Public Schools for twenty-eight years.  She was passionate about art and was involved in Arts For All in the Lawton community.  She loved camping in Silverton, Colorado.  Mrs. Chadwick was a member of Cameron Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Crystal and Tony English, Lawton Mitchell and Heidi Chadwick, Elgin and Russell and Karen Chadwick, Indiahoma, seven grandchildren, Jacob English, Erin English, John Levan, Heather Chadwick, Kasey Chadwick, Paul Chadwick and Benjamin Chadwick, eight grandchildren, sister-in-law, Beverly Andrews and her husband, John, Lawton and brother-in-law, Doyle Chadwick, Edmond.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
