Funeral service for Ruth E. (Belcher) Coppock will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Ruth E. (Belcher) Coppock, age 82, Lawton, died Friday, February 3, 2017 in Duncan, Oklahoma.  Ruth was born April 22, 1934 in Lawton to Thurman L. and Dorothy Marie (Coley) Belcher.  She grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton schools.  As a young woman she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and retired from Baylor Medical Center.  She returned to Lawton in 2003 to be closer to family.

Ruth was a member of the Church of Christ.  She had also been a member of VFW Post 5263 Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed dancing, shopping garage sales and collecting roosters.

Survivors include her son, Calvin Lee Farmer; grandson, Kevin Farmer; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Ray Williamson, Austin, Texas, Nona Brown, Lawton and Debra K. and Glenn Bomgardner, Lawton; her brother, Billy H. Belcher, Lawton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Farmer, her sister, Judy Foutch, and three brothers, Albert, Jerry and Donald Belcher.
