Funeral service for Russell Norman Lycett will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the First Baptist Church, Snyder with Matt Henderson, Youth Pastor officiating.

Russell passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Lawton due to a motor vehicle accident.

Burial with Military Honors will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

The family will greet friends Monday evening, January 11, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home in Snyder.

Russell Norman Lycett 34, Snyder was born December 27, 1981 in Olean, New York to Robert Russell, Jr. and Kathy Mae (Skinner) Lycett. He joined the US Army in 2000 and later served a tour of duty in Iraq in 2003. Russell married Sabrine Aguirri on March 8, 2002 and had 3 beautiful children. He worked as a tire builder for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. of Lawton, OK. Russell was a hard working man who did whatever it took to provide for his family or anyone who needed help. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, hanging out with friends, racing his cars, teaching his kids and was passionate about working on cars.

He is survived by his loving wife Sabrine Lycett of the home, his daughters, Elysia Maree Cory and Teri Rachel Renae Aguirri-Lycett both of Snyder, his son Holden Niles Green Lycett of Snyder, his parents, Robert and Kathy Lycett of Arlington, TX, his brothers, Robert Russell Lycett, III of Arlington, TX, Scott Lycett and wife Tonya of Traer, IA, Dustin Skinner and wife Jennifer of Portville, NY, his sister Leslie Chapel and husband Jason of Salamanca, NY, his mother and father-in-law Mike and Dominga Aguirri of Snyder, OK, sister-in-law Stacie Saxon of Snyder, OK, Kelly Sweeting of Snyder, OK, Kristy and husband Ty Combs of Snyder, OK, Ashley and husband Joey Miranda of Altus, OK, brothers-in-law Tim and wife Ashley Shelton of Cache, OK, Aaron and wife Samantha Mitchell of Lawton, OK, grandparents, Norman and his wife Gerry Skinner of Portville, NY, Patt Lycett of Carrolton, NY, 7 aunts, 5 uncles, 13 nephews, 12 nieces and 32 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Russell Lycett, Sr., and his cousin Samantha Lycett.
