Funeral service for Ruby G. Ramsey will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin McCurdy, Pastor, Westwood Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.

Ruby G. Ramsey, age 94, Lawton, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her residence.  She was born December 30, 1923 in Jefferson County, Alabama.  She married Royce D. Ramsey on April 29, 1944 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He preceded her in death on November 30, 1997.

She was primarily a homemaker but had worked 18 years with Peggy Bell's Answering Service.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Royce D. Ramsey, Jr. and wife Donna, William Bert Ramsey and wife Bernice and Robbinette Ramsey; four grandchildren, Royce Wade Ramsey, Robyn Ruth Bryant, Kristian Reneé Ramsey and Todd Andrew Ramsey; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary, Hazel and Opal; and two brothers, James and Harold.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill, and a sister, Carolyn.
