Age 90, Lawton - Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Teel and Rev. Bob Jones, officiating. Mrs. Dodson died Friday in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born December 21, 1917 near Apache, Oklahoma, to Harvey Earl and Emma (Skaler) Scammahorn. She attended Apache High School and married Herman Dodson on March 26, 1934 in Lawton. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1995. She had worked at Lincoln and Cleveland Elementary Schools as a cook and retired in the mid 1970's from Gibson's Discount Center. She had been a member of Calvary, Trinity and Central Baptist Churches and at the time of her death was a member of Cameron Baptist Church. She had served in the children's division for several years as well as various committees. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Paula and Stan Cothren, Lawton; a brother and sister in law, Roy and Sue Scammahorn, Apache; eight nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
