Graveside service for Roy Allen Palmer will be at 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2016 at Highland Cemetery, Lawton with Danny Toombs, Director of Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Cameron University officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Roy Allen Palmer, 63, Lawton  passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Durant, Oklahoma.  He was born November 21, 1952 in Lawton to Roy and Nettie Zelma (Long) Palmer.  He grew up in Lawton and attended vocational school in Muskogee.  He worked at the Coca Cola plant in Lawton for a few years before going to work for Cameron University as a maintenance technician for 19 years.  Roy loved playing bingo, the OSU cowboys, collecting movies and playing fantasy football.

He is survived by his sister Patricia Toombes of Lawton, 6 nieces, Elizabeth Reeves and husband Ronnie of Dennison, TX, Rebecca Kayser and husband Daniel of Lawton, Rachel Johnson of Taylorville, IL, Robyn Toombes of Lawton, April Russell of Brockport, PA, Tina Frye and husband Kenneth of Omaha, NE and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Charlene, Darlene and Norma Jean.
