Memorial service for Roy Gene Langford will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Gresham, Pastor officiating.

Our beloved Roy Langford left us on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Roy was born on December 5, 1953, in Mesa, Arizona.

He met his wife, Donna in Austin, Texas, and later married in 1973. Roy was employed with APAC in Snyder, Oklahoma as an asphalt plant foreman from 1999 until recent years, due to his health no longer allowing him to work.

Roy was preceded by his father, Leroy Langford, and mother, Lorene Patterson.

He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Schultz, Susan Carter, Lynn Langford, Jimmy Langford, his wife Donna Langford and his two daughters; Amanda Mills and Ashley Langford, granddaughters, Chelsey Langford, Alexia Mills, and Brittany Mills. He will also be missed by four great grandchildren; Cannon Camp, Kamdyn Gonzalez, Millie Delong, and a baby girl due early next year.

Roy was a simple man with a loving heart. He was a firm believer in tough love and was always quick to throw a joke someone's way. Roy was a dedicated father and grandfather who spent his years loving and picking fun at his girls. We are thankful for the memories we've shared with him, and for the stories we will carry with us. We are grateful for his love and dedication throughout all these years, and his memory that will live on through family. We can all rest better knowing he is no longer in pain and is watching over us all.
