Funeral for Roswitha Badgett, 75, Lawton will be at 1:30 PM Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain (MAJ) William J. Glenn officiating. Mrs. Badgett died Monday, October 20, 2014 in Lawton. Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born September 18, 1939 in Ulm, Germany to Engelbert and Paula (Schmelzer) Bastian. She married CW2 (Retired) Raymond D. Badgett on November 5, 1959 in Germany. He died August 23, 2014. Mrs. Badgett retired from Civil Service and had been a volunteer at Reynolds Army Community Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Audria Carroll and her husband Robert, Boyce, Virginia, son-in-law, Steve Jenkins, Charlottesville, Virginia, five grandchildren, Sarah Rose Carroll, Jacob Carroll, Adrianne Smith, Shaun Smith and Stephen Smith, two brothers, Dieter and Urgen and a sister, Sonya, all of Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Barbara Jenkins and a brother, Horst.
