Funeral service for Ross Henry Wallace, Sr., will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ross Henry Wallace, Sr., age 83, Lawton, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Lawton.  He was born May 5, 1934 in Portland, Oregon to Lynn Kitson and Helen Leona Wallace.  He grew up in Oregon and the family moved to San Diego, California following the death of his father.

Ross joined the AFL-CIO Union at the age of 18 as an painter's apprentice and later became a journeyman.  He married Beverly McMahon on September 27, 1962 in Winterhaven, California.  He moved to Lawton in1987 and worked as a paint contractor.  He also served in the U.S. Army in the late 1950's.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; his children, Ralph G. Henderickson, Colorado, Paris L. Beardsworth, Dallas, Texas, Ross H. Wallace, II, Ruth Elizabeth Jewell and Evan Wallace, all of Lawton; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Wall, Jorm Wallace and Faye Hummel; numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents and twelve siblings preceded him in death.
