Funeral for Rosilde Anuska, 85, Lawton, will be at 11:30 am Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Chaplain (MAJ) Alva Ray Bennett officiating Mrs. Anuska died Monday in Lawton. Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born March 20, 1926 in Ukraine to Jan and Elaine (Yanes) Pappelpu. She grew up in Urkraine. She moved to Germany at the age of 15 to work in factories. Mrs. Anuska came to the United States in 1959. While in Germany she married Joe William Anuska on July 17, 1958. He died December 24, 2003. She was a homemaker. Survivors include 3 grandchildren, Brian Anuska of Sanford, Florida; Monica Narcisse of Edgewater Florida; Nicole Anuska of Edgewater, Florida; 5 great grandchildren, Alyana, Jordan, Mackenzie, Gavin and Liam; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Annuska and Lillian Anuska; a brother-in-law, Meciuc Anuska and several nieces and nephews in the state of New York. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Albert Anuska.
