Age 96, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 10:00am Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenyon Bush, Associate Pastor of the Wilmont Place Baptist Church, Oklahoma City officiating. Mrs. McGuffin died Saturday in a Lawton nursing home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery, Blair, Oklahoma. She was born January 9, 1913 in Laverty, Oklahoma to Hubert Luther and Mary Tryphena (Steele) Edens. She married Urbin Arthur McGuffin on May 23, 1931 in Laverty. He died September 21, 1977. She was a charter member of the Laverty Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Hubert Urbin and Mary Ann (Russell) McGuffin, Melvin Jordon and Barbara Dae (Shaul) McGuffin, five grandchildren and their spouses, Debra Dae McGuffin of Oklahoma City, OK, Gwen and Gary Sosnowski of Yukon, OK, Carol Jan Law of Topeka, KS, Steve Clark and Jo Ann (Foster) McGuffin of Arcadia, OK Mark and Tammi Jo (Eubanks) McGuffin of Wichita Falls, TX, her sister Martha Reed of Lawton, OK and nine great grandchildren, Jason and Autumn Daley and Derrick Lloyd, Beth Law, Bart Law, Matt Law, Jordan Michelle McGuffin, Sean Christopher McGuffin, Cameron Scott McGuffin and Shelby Elizabeth McGuffin. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren, Alexis, Blake and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Hubert and Kenneth and a sister Daphne.
