Funeral service for Rosemary Horton will be at 2:00 pm Monday, May 22, 2017 in the First Baptist Church, Thomas, OK with T.C. Perkins, Pastor of the Cowboy Church, Thomas, OK and Rev. Tim Billy, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Thomas, OK officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery, Thomas, OK under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Fletcher.

Rosemary Horton, 68 of Thomas, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Chickasha, OK.  She was born July 9, 1948 in Thomas to Walter Wynne and Marchieta (McClain) Horton.  Rosemary trusted Jesus to forgive her and become her savior at vacation bible school at First Baptist Church, Thomas at the age of 15 and remained a member there.

Survivors include her sister Sandra Basham and husband Tom of Anadarko, OK, brother James Walter Horton of Shattuck, OK uncle James McClain and wife Mollie of Thomas, OK, nieces and nephews; James "Mick" Horton of Chickasha, OK, Joe Horton and wife Melody of Shattuck, OK, Joshua Horton of Shattuck, OK, Julie Longan and husband Wade of Geary, OK, two double cousins, Linda Dillmon and husband Robert of Newton, KS, Joyce Currell and husband Calvin of Thomas, OK, second cousins; Christie Dillmon of Enid, OK, Melanie Dillmon of Chicago, IL, Amy Walker and husband Darrin of Shawnee, OK, and cousins Dwaine Horton and wife Eldora of Thomas, OK and Paul Reynolds of Grand Lake, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Annie Horton.
