Funeral service for Rosemarie Ingeborg Greer will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain (LTC) Clark Rabe officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Rosemarie Ingeborg Greer, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a loving daughter, a devoted sister, and a good friend went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2016 at the age of 78. Rosemarie was born on November 2, 1937 to Bertha and Rudolf Reiter in Frankfurt, Germany. On November 15, 1957 she married Elmer Greer in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany. On October 4, 1966 a son Ronald David Greer was born.

Rosemarie devoted the first 20 years of the marriage to being a military wife, raising her family and proudly supporting her husband. Rosemarie and Elmer celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in November 2015. Rosemarie was a devoted member of the New Post Chapel at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where she will be sorely missed.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband Elmer Greer, their son David Greer, daughter in law Liza Greer, and the love of her life grandchildren Dominique and Matteo Greer. She is also survived by one sister Crista Danner and husband Michael in Nuremburg, Germany as well as a host of friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother Bertha and father Rudolf Reiter; three brothers Herman, Rudy and Kurt; two sisters, Leisel Burnham and Helga Orr.

Rosemarie loved her family and friends and devoted her life to being a good person and friend to whomever she met. As a young lady in Germany, Rosemarie was an avid skier and ice skater.
