Funeral service for Ronald Lee Shatswell will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Ronald Lee Shatswell was born October 2, 1951 in Wetumka, Oklahoma.  He was one of ten children born to John Henry and Vickla (Yates) Shatswell.  Ron grew up in Wetumka and his parents died when he was a teenager.  Ron left school and went to work, honing his skills as a mechanic and later working as a truck driver.  He married Linda Ann (Rooney) Walters on August 29, 1970.  The couple later divorced.

Ron enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with family.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheena Shatswell and fiancé, James Bernard; a son, Aidan Lee Shatswell; a granddaughter, Malaya Dawn Shatswell; a brother, Troy Shatswell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His wife, Barbra Olvera; a daughter, Shannon Dawn Shatswell, four brothers, John Wesley, Harvey, Arly Wayne and Buddy Wayne Shatswell, and four sisters, Imogene Gibson, Wanda Potter, Hazel Poppino and Vondell Dunagan, preceded him in death.
