Ronald Jay Chavez, 67, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Per Ron's wishes there are no services scheduled at this time.

Ron was born March 26, 1955 in Los Alamos, New Mexico to Jim and Evelyn (Buchwald) Chavez. Ron graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1973 and then started a lifelong career of working on and fixing anything that was brought to him. He enjoyed drag racing and spending time at the lake.

Ron is survived by his two sons, Ron Chavez and wife Meredith and Casey Chavez; three grandchildren, Madison, Xander, and Xaiden; his mother, Evelyn Chavez of Faxon, Oklahoma; sister Barbara Lehman and husband Greg of Tennessee, two brothers, Dennis Chavez and wife Debbie and Kerry Chavez both of Faxon, Oklahoma; nieces, Heather Hack and Bambi Chavez and nephews, Chris Raynes, Harley Chavez and Aaron Chavez.

He was preceded in death by his father.
