Funeral service for Roberta J. "Bobbie" Martin will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Delbert Beard, of Lawton, Oklahoma officiating.

Roberta J. "Bobbie" Martin, 69, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lawton on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born January 26, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Fredrick and Erma Louis (Vanlaningham) Martin. Her family was a military family and lived in various places around the United States including, Arkansas and Nebraska. Bobbie worked for the BNSF railroad as a locomotive engineer for many years before she retired. She moved to Lawton to be closer to her son. She enjoyed arts and crafts such as, sewing, cross stitching, and quilting. Bobbie liked to read and watch tv mysteries and gardening.

She is survived by her son, William Martin and wife Lucy of Lawton, Oklahoma, daughter, Laura Fulton and husband Terry of Sunbury, Australia, two grandchildren, Nathan and Jacob Fulton of Sunbury, Australia, three brothers, Michael Lowery of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kermit Brown and wife Raylene of Springfield, Missouri, Rick Lowrey and wife Vicky of Norfolk, Virginia, one sister, Susan Wooley of Toledo, Ohio, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ken Brown.
