Obituary

Robert E. Wollschleger, Jr., 57, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2023, at his home.

Viewing will be from 12:00pm to 5:0pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

Robert was born March 27, 1966, in Painesville, Ohio, to Robert E. Wollschleger, Sr. and Diane B. Wollschleger (Taylor).

After serving in the Army during the Gulf War, Robert began his trucking career in 1992, working for thirty-one years and executing two million safe driving miles. He was an independent owner/operator driver leased by CRST Specialized Transportation and was proud to provide service in the medical fleet hauling and assembling specialized medical equipment. Concurrently, he was a successful business owner providing master mechanic services for large business vehicles.

When you first met Robert, he was all business, but once you got to know him, you could see he had a heart of gold. He was honest and trustworthy, had a great sense of humor, and a smile that lit up the room. Robert's strength and character knew no limits, and he always sacrificed himself for others.

Robert is survived by his beloved companion of six years, Regina Dickson; his mother, Diane Taylor; his uncle Barry Taylor and wife Renee; his uncle Bill Taylor and wife Chris; his brother Brian Wollschleger and wife Tammie and brother Kenneth Wollschleger and wife Wendy; four additional half-siblings on his father's side; four children: Jaime Lange, Alex Dickson, Michael Donnelly II, and Kyle Neuendorf; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Wollschleger, Sr.
