A graveside funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Robert E. DeGraw will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 in Highland Cemetery.

Robert E. DeGraw passed away on May 13, 2023, in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 76. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Born on October 12, 1946, in New York to Robert and Virginia DeGraw, Robert embraced a life filled with dedication and hard work. In 1974, he became a resident of Lawton and played a significant role in the early days of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, being one of the first workers hired. After over 20 years of dedicated service, he retired and continued his passion for technology by accepting a position as a Computer Technician with the Lawton Public Schools.

In 1965, Robert married Mildred Anne Marsh, sharing a love that spanned many beautiful years. Mildred sadly preceded him in death on August 30, 2016. In 2018, Robert found love and companionship once again when he married Becky Smart in a ceremony held in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Outside of his professional life, Robert had a zest for car racing and enjoyed fishing. These passions brought him immense joy and created countless cherished memories.

Robert is survived by his wife, Becky. He also leaves behind his daughter, Bonnie Sue McCoy, and his son, CW3 (Retired) Robert J. DeGraw, and wife Bobbie together with his three grandchildren and one great grandchild.. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Sherrie Ewanciw and Connie DeGraw, his brother, Jimmy DeGraw, and stepsons, Greg and Richard Michel and five step-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mildred, and a granddaughter, Amber Marie McCoy.
