Funeral service for Richard Tedder, 81, Lawton will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with David Malone, Music Director of Grace Fellowship, Lawton officiating. Mr. Tedder died Saturday at his home in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. He was born December 29, 1929 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Eddie Monroe and Susan Roxey (Serris) Tedder. He served in the US Navy and Army, and retired from the United States Postal Service after 28 years of service. He married Tommie L, Williams in Ada, OK on February 20, 1957. She died October 7, 1999. He is survived by his two children, Joel Tedder of Lawton, daughter Lou Ann Erwin and husband Robert of Mississippi, his brother Eddie Tedder and wife Sandy of Ardmore, OK, two grandchildren, Corey and Casey Erwin and two great grandchildren, Caleb and Addison. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
