Funeral service for Richard Brent Fountain, 67, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will be 1:30 pm Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kim Hames, Pastor, First Christian Church, Lawton officiating. Mr. Fountain died Thursday at a Winston-Salem Hospital. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. He was born April 24, 1943 to Jay Dee and Marie L. (Dunning) Fountain. He was an avid sports fan of all sports. Brent was a great partner in life and always made his wife feel so loved, because they worked together as a team. He is survived by his loving wife of the home, Linda Roberts Fountain; two sons, J. Andrew McClung and Richard B. Stoll; a daughter, Marissa Ferrell; seven grandchildren, Makenzie, Madelyn, Brandon, Kyler, Mackenzie, Jacob and Mason; his father, Jay Dee Fountain; sister in law, Sheila Fountain; and many special nieces and nephews. His mother and a brother, Kent D. Fountain preceded him in death.
