Funeral service for Rhonda Jean Rankin will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2026 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Marsh officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Rhonda Jean Rankin, 69, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Lawton. She was born May 15, 1957, in Lawton to Ron Eugene Dunham and Nora Louise (Slagle) Henderson.

Rhonda grew up in Lawton before moving to California as a teenager. She later returned to Lawton, where she married Paul Dewayne Rankin. Together, they had three sons before later divorcing. Rhonda eventually married Michael A. Kelly, and they shared 25 years together until her passing.

For many years, Rhonda worked in the housekeeping department at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She grew up attending Lawton Heights Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed staying busy, especially when hosting yard sales, where she loved visiting with people and finding treasures.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael A. Kelly; her son and daughter-in-law, Alan Jacob Rankin and Sarah Miller; two stepsons, Chris Kelly and Kenneth Kelly; 11 grandchildren, Marissa, Kayla, Alexis, Mia, Taylor, Scott, Giovanni, Alarah, Jericho, Journey, and Aubriaunna; several great-grandchildren, including Raelynn, Gannon, and Karina; and three sisters, Tammy Carringer and her husband, Jason, Kim Hartley and her husband, Kenny, and Kelly Josey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Keith Dewayne Rankin and Brandon Scott Rankin; and her brother, Bryan Henderson.
