Funeral service for Rhonda Larae Moorhead will be 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert B. Collingwood officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Rhonda Larae Moorhead, age 58, of Lawton, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born March 28 1958 in Lawton to Jimmie and Elizabeth Glandon.

Rhonda was a graduate of Eisenhower High School.  After high school she worked at Citizen National Bank.  After that she worked for the Wichita Mountain Refuge.  On May 26 1978 she married the love of her life of 38 years Michael Moorhead.  She then chose to be a domestic engineer.  Rhonda thrived and prided life on raising children. Not just her own three children but a number of neighborhood children, of which all of these children would call her "mom".  After her children were old enough to be in school she chose to be closer to them by working as a computer teacher and lunch lady at Kuntz Elementary.  Later she would become one of the best grandmothers.  Rhonda loved every one of her "children" immensely.  In her most recent years she dedicated her life to taking care of her grandchildren and loved every second of it.

Rhonda was survived by her husband of the home, parents, Elgin, one son Benjamin and wife Phoebe Moorhead, North Ogden, Utah, two daughters Kelly and husband Jamie Glover, Elgin, Samantha and husband Shawn Bricker, Lawton, a sister Retha and husband Joe Knowles, Apache, a brother Ragan and wife Cheryl Glandon, Albuquerque, New Mexico, three sister in-laws, Sandy and husband Larry Wrinkle, Buffalo, Missouri, Toni and husband Robbie Collingwood, Carol Moorhead and husband Tracy Wiecking, and Mother in-law Mable Moorhead all of Ballwin, Missouri, five grandchildren, Falcon and Titan Moorhead, Jhett Glover, Cael and Kori Bricker and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Rhonda was proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents Joseph and Lois Brantley, Paternal grandparents Cecil and Pearl Glandon, two uncles Bill and Jerry Glandon, and a Father in-law William Moorhead.
