A memorial service will be held for Rhonda Gale Huffman (McLaughlin) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Bethel Assembly of God in Lawton, Oklahoma, with Reverend Randy Shorter officiating.

Rhonda Gale was born on February 8, 1958, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to James "Mac" McLaughlin and Shirley Jo (Etter) McLaughlin. She passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 65, 11 months, and 11 days.

Rhonda loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and great-grandson, Bowen. She always looked forward to going to the Etter Family Reunion every year. She loved her church family and her church, Bethel Assembly of God, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Rhonda enjoyed giving people a hard time, but, more importantly, she was a powerful prayer warrior who always stopped what she was doing to pray whenever someone told her they needed prayer. She also loved her dogs and her cat, Garfield.

Rhonda was proceeded in death by her mother, Shirley McLaughlin; her father, James McLaughlin, Sr.; brothers, Larry Slinkard, Billy Radford, and Robert "Bobby" McLaughlin; brother-in-law, Carl Kriz; and sister-in-law, Mary McLaughlin.

Rhonda is survived by her step-mother, Iva McLaughlin; daughter Shannon Sturm of Lawton, Oklahoma; son Trey Huffman of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandkids, Natalie Medina, Bailey Sturm, Emily Sturm, and Christopher Huffman; great-grandson, Bowen Sturm; sisters, LeAnn Kriz of Irving, Texas and Beckey Watkins of Lawton, Oklahoma; brother, Jimmy Mac McLaugline of Idabel, Oklahoma; aunts, Madeline Harrell, Mildred Bartlett, and Pat Etter; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
