Funeral for Rheua Nell "Rudy" Watkins, 72, Lawton will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mary Spradlin, Senior Pastor, Arlington Heights United Methodist Church, Fort Worth, Texas officiating. Mrs. Watkins died Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Lawton. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born August 24,1941 in Lawton to C. Russell and Vera (Armstrong) Lowrance. She married James D. Watkins on August 28, 1965 in Henrietta, Texas. Mrs. Watkins worked in the business office at Cameron University for over twenty five years where she made life long friends. She was a very devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Watkins had a homespun and honest sense of humor that everyone enjoyed and loved. Survivors include her husband, of the home, son, Diron Watkins, Lawton, daughter Renee Seeds and her husband Paul, Fort Worth, Texas and four grandchildren, Taylor Watkins and Drue Watkins, both of Lawton and Megan Seeds and Noelle Seeds, both of Fort Worth.
