Graveside service for Reagan D. Jones, 92, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Fort Sill National Cemetery with military honors and Masonic Rites under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Reagan D. Jones died on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Reagan was born on April 1, 1934, in Leedey, Oklahoma, to Lorenzo and Doyle (Sherman) Jones. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956. Following his military service, Reagan dedicated 32 years as a civil servant at Tinker Air Force Base.
On December 21, 1974, he married the love of his life, Paulette Fort, in Oklahoma City. Together, they shared 51 years of marriage. Reagan was a faithful member of Masonic Lodge No. 41, where he served for a time as Past Worshipful Master. Reagan played a vital role in helping establish the Corum Fire Department and remained a dedicated member and longtime supporter.
Reagan had a deep love for travel, especially alongside his wife, as they followed fair weather across the seasons-spending winters at Padre Island and summers in Canada. He was a lifelong fan of OU football, an avid fisherman, and took great pride in tending his garden, where his green thumb was evident to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, June, Albert, Roy, and Calvin; and his daughter, Gloria Pritchertt, and a granddaughter, Lacey Garrett.
Reagan is survived by his loving wife, Paulette Jones; his daughters, Deborah and husband Rick Garrett and Brenda Fort; his grandchildren: Amanda, Jimmy Pritchertt and his wife, Madelyn; Brandon Clenendon; and Bodie Garrett and his wife, Shecoeta; brother-in-law, George and wife Rajeana Runyon; nieces and nephews, Roy and wife Bonnie Jones, Judy and husband Irvan Ownes, Calvin and wife Becky Jones, Frank and wife Vickie Jones, Ed and wife Sandy Stewart, Stacy and husband Chris McCracken, and Paul Runyon. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
