Funeral service for Rayshaun V. "Ray Ray" Cole will be 1:30 PM Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Robinson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Highland Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Rayshaun V. "Ray Ray" Cole, 30, of Chula Vista, California, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Chula Vista. He was born December 11, 1984 in Sardis, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Lawton High School and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was currently working as a government contractor for JSL Technologies, Inc. Rayshaun was a former resident of Sardis, Mississippi, Fort Drum, New York, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Lawton, Oklahoma and San Diego, California. He loved basketball, track & field and bowling. Survivors include his children, Najah S. Moore, Braydon C. Pratt, Arianna W. Cole, Sierra L. Gregg, Jashaun M. Cole and Kyishijera Cole. He is also survived by his mother, Wanita Gates, fathers, Barry Gates and Rayford Haynes, siblings, Demetric Sykes (Javeda), Barron Gates (Rasheena), Jennifer Flowers, Jabarrius Gates, Ramone Robinson, Kyquasaur Frost, Johnathan Haynes, Quinton Haynes, Brittany Haynes and Amiracle Frost and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
