Funeral for Raymond Joe Traut, 55, Lawton will be at 1:30 PM Saturday at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Howard officiating. Mr. Traut died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. He was born May 26, 1958 in Ohm, Germany to William Steven and Ingeborg (Thiel) Traut. He grew up in Lawton and attended Eisenhower Junior High School. He then started working with Sam Luna remodeling houses. He then opened Quality Remodeling and later opened American Eagle Roofing which was a well known business for thirty five years. When he wasn't working, he was a busy papa spending time with all of his grandbabies. He really enjoyed going out to the lake, barbequing with family and friends and fishing. Remembering him include his wife of thirty years, Rosalie Traut, his two daughters, Ariel Traut and Heidi Thomason and her husband Dackery and his grandchildren, Summer, Autumn, Chevy and Chevelle Thomason and Joshua and Jeremiah Long, his siblings, Danny Traut, Richard Traut and Patricia Berglund and her husband Brad, sisters-in-law, Ramona Nolan and her husband Scott and Della Phillips and her husband Larry. He is also remembered by nieces and nephews, Leslie Brock, April Glasco and her husband Steve, Cassie Phillips, Nykole Traut and Jonathan and Adam Savage. He is now reunited with his parents, two brothers, Frank and Peter Traut and sister-in-law, Trudy Traut.
