Memorial service for Raymond McMurry, 69, Lawton, will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Shane Hall, Pastor, First Southern, Del City, and Rev. Gary Pratt, Associate Pastor, First Assembly of God, officiating. Raymond passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, April 18, 2014 with his wife by his side and surrounded by his special friends and family. Services are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Raymond was born July 27, 1944 in Casper, Wyoming to Loys and Maurine (Hix) McMurry. He married his lovely bride of 48 years, Pat Boeding, on August 27, 1965 in Dallas, Texas. Raymond was an amazing husband, loving daddy, proud grandpa and loyal friend. Although he will be missed dearly by those he left behind, we know he is in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. He is survived by his wife of the home; three children, Wendy and her husband Brad Seifert, Tampa, Florida, Julie and her husband Bruce Walker, Pilot Point, Texas and Stephen McMurry, Wilmington, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Madison Seifert, Cooper Walker, Hayden Seifert and Connor Walker; and a multitude of friends.
