Funeral service for Randy E. Jones, 65, Faxon will be at 12:00 pm Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Bethel Assembly of God, Lawton with Pastor Randy Shorter officiating. Mr. Jones passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home in Faxon. Burial with military honors will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. He was born October 31, 1949 in Decatur, Illinois to Russell Everett and Zelmalea (Harris) Jones. He graduated from Herrick High School in Illinois and served in the US Army during Vietnam in 1969. He married Nancy Jane Neumann on June 2, 1969 in Tower Hill, IL. He spent time farming in Illinois and in 1985 they moved to Oklahoma where he began a career as a heavy equipment operator. He raised and trained horses which was his passion. He attended Bethel Assembly of God in Lawton. He was a passionate teacher of God's word. His life was Jesus, family and horses. He is survived by his wife Nancy of the home, his mother Zelmalea Jones of Pana, IL, three children, Monica and Greg Sexton of Altus, OK, Bart and Reble Jones of Faxon, OK, Amy and Garin Horschler of Chattanooga, OK, seven grandchildren, Clint Lucus, Shelby Sexton, Warren Jones, Cassie Jones, Allison Jones, Luke Horschler, Julie Mae Horschler, three great grandchildren, Aden, Carmile, Scarlett, two brothers, Terry Jones and Davy Jones and wife Karen both of Illinois and a sister-in-law Donia Jones of Illinois.
