Randy L. Gardner, 68, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Lawton.

Randy was born June 9, 1957, in Cyril, Oklahoma, to Hewitt A. Gardner and Daisy Lou (King) Gardner. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1976.

At the age of 18, Randy began working for Rockin K, driving a cattle truck. He spent many years in the cattle and trucking industry, including driving for FF Rodeo Company where he also worked as a pickup man for a couple of years. Throughout his career he drove for several cattle companies before later hauling freight for Shaun Frick of Idaho and G&G Freight Line of Lawton, Oklahoma.

On December 28, 2019, Randy married Tammie Pillow in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Randy is survived by his wife, Tammie Gardner of the home; his son, Shane Gardner; his stepdaughter, Katie Martin and husband Devante; step-grandchildren Adam Austin, Chillton Martin, Kaden Martin, and Aven Martin; his brother, Ronnie Gardner and wife Sudan; his sister, Janie Smith and husband Donald "Little Bit"; his nephew, Chas Gardner; nieces Crystal and husband Adam, and Jennifer Benson and husband Tony Hagen; and his lifetime friend, Jimmy Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hewitt and Daisy Gardner, one brother, and one sister.

Randy will be remembered for his years of hard work, his time spent on the road, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. His memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
