Funeral service for Polly Ann Johnson, 61, Altus will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Greater Love Ministries Church of God in Christ, Altus with Superintendent Robert E. Green, Pastor officiating. Polly passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Altus. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. * The family will greet friends Friday evening, November 22, 2013 at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm * Polly was born February 4, 1952 in Snyder to Edward Byron and Clara Sue (Burris) Johnson. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1970. She owned and operated two beauty salons in Lawton, and was a medication aide at Ayer's Nursing Home before her retirement. Polly still had loyal clients whose hair she still fixed even though her health had begun to decline. She loved playing cards, bingo, watching television, especially OKC Thunder basketball games with her mother, and enjoyed spending special times with her granddaughters. Survivors include her mother Clara Johnson of Altus, OK, daughter Toshiba L. Walker-Myles & husband Kevin Myles of Altus, OK, son Zuri Johnson and wife Dasha of Oklahoma City, OK, 2 granddaughters, Zion and Makayla both of Oklahoma City, OK, brother Edward Johnson and wife Diane of Snyder, OK, 4 sisters, Luella Scruggs and husband Prentice of Lawton, OK, Rita Mustiful of Oklahoma City, OK, Betty Dickey of Snyder, OK, Lula Brown of Snyder, OK and special friends Ruby Gettens of Snyder and Carolyn McBrayer of Hobart, OK. She is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
