Age 60, Geronimo - Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the First Baptist Church, Geronimo, with Steve Mallow, Pastor, Immanuel Baptist Church, Lawton, officiating. Mrs. Van Etten died Friday in Lawton. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. She was born on March 27, 1948 in Crawford County, Arkansas to John B. and Olivette (Skelton) Gregory. She married William A. "Bill" Van Etten in Lawton on February 12, 1988. She worked for Haggar Slacks for over twenty years. She bowled in many leagues at Holiday Bowl and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church in Lawton. Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie Toombs and Donald of Geronimo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff Crow and Donna of Indiahoma, and William Van Etten and Jennifer of Muskegon, Michigan; seven grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, her twin brother, Joe Gregory and Linda of Geronimo, Ben Gregory and Barbara of Van Buren, Arkansas, Bobby Harold Gregory and Caroline of Mt. Burg, Arkansas, and Larry Andrews and Bessie of Alma, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Lou Penland and her husband, Jack, of Geronimo, and Debbie Van Derheiden of Escondido, California; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Barbara and Chris Noriega and Ray and Susan Winfield, all of Geronimo, and Willy Straub of Lawton. Her parents, four brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
