Funeral service for Phyllis J. Cameron will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Phyllis J. Cameron, age 84, Lawton, died Saturday, November 12, 2016.  She was born March 23, 1932 in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Charles and Mary (Johnston) Kennedy.  She grew up in Guthrie Center and was a 1951 graduate of Guthrie Center High School.  She moved to Des Moines and worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and also worked in the insurance industry.  Phyllis married John E. Cameron on February 20, 1960 in Indianola, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; three children and their spouses, Kevan C. and Elise Cameron, Severance, Colorado, Lori A. and Bruce Lovett, Rincon, Georgia, and John J.K. and Meredith Cameron, Burkburnett, Texas; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Whitney, Andrew, Mason, Cameron, Eliza and Quinn; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Jaxon and a soon to be born great grandson; her sister, Roberta Kennedy, Lawton.

Her parents, her brother, Frank, and her sister, Mary, preceded her in death.
