Peggy Howe Greb was born in Hooker, OK on August 11, 1929 and passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Greb. She will forever be remembered both for her loving and giving nature and her quick wit. For many years, Peggy worked in the fashion industry in Dallas, TX. In 1971, she moved to Lawton, OK, to begin a long career in the restaurant business, opening Fisherman's Cove. She later sold the restaurant to her son, Tom and daughter-in-law, Denise Trimpa.

In 2004, Peggy and Bill moved to the Village on Lee. After Bill's passing, she continued to reside at the Village until August of 2015, when she moved to Grandbrook in Garland, TX. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and attended Northwest Church of Christ in Lawton. Peggy was a most amazing woman, who never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ancel Southern; and her husband, Bill Greb. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Mike Cooper of Dallas, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Denise Trimpa of Lawton, OK; stepson and daughter-in-law, Don and Connie Greb of Lawton; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Tommy Mansell of Lawton; grandson and his wife, Wade and Nicole Cooper of Dallas; grandson and his wife, Braxton Leigh Cooper of Dallas, and grandson and companion Tyler Trimpa and Nicole Beck of Lawton; granddaughter, Allison Greb French of Lawton; great-grandchildren, Micah and Maggie Cooper of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Tomlin and Tatum Trimpa of Lawton, and great-grandchildren, Jarratt Levi French of Lawton; and many nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends.

A special thank you is extended to Peggy's cherished caregivers both in Lawton and Garland, and most recently, to Mary Fillmore for her devotion to our Mother while living in Texas. The family appreciates the patience and kindness given to our mother during her years at the Village on Lee in Lawton, and to the wonderful staff/facility at Grandbrook during her time in Garland.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Peggy's name to the Oklahoma National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
