Funeral service for Pauline M. Ward, 100, formerly of Lawton, will be 2:00 pm Monday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Dawson, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Ward died Friday in McKinney, Texas. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Ward was born May 23, 1911 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Jim and Anna (Gilliam) Smith. She spent her childhood and adolescent years in Tishomingo. She married Park E. Ward on July 27, 1930 in Walters, Oklahoma. They lived in Lawton for most of their married life. He died on August 15, 1990. She had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Cameron Baptist Church, respectively. Survivors include two daughters, Pat and her husband Jerry Moore and Paula Cox , Lawton; four sons, Jack and his wife Nancy Ward, Princeton, Texas, Charles and his wife Jeanette Ward, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donny Ward and Al Ward both of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; thirty three grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; forty eight great great grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Varwig, Bartlett, Kansas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Lovett; three sisters and two brothers.
