Age 82, Mountain Park, Oklahoma - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, at the Becker Funeral Home Chapel, Snyder, Oklahoma with Rev. John B. Johnson, Pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Altus officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. Pauline (Killian) Roberts passed from this life on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born to Paul and Maude (Baldwin) Killian on July 16, 1926 in Humphreys, Oklahoma, she was the fourth of ten children. While residing in Mt. Park with her family, she met and married Hubert B. Roberts a military man stationed at the Army Air Corp Field in Frederick. They were married on March 13, 1944. The two traveled the country with the Army Air Corp and had three children along the way: Paula Mae; Brenda Joyce and Hubert Dewayne. Following their retirement from the U.S. Air Force - the two settled down with their family in the Mountain Park - Snyder area where they owned and operated the 62 Café for a number of years. In between watching her stories (General Hospital & One Life to Live) she worked a number of years at CR Industries at Hobart and baby-sat a set of infant twins (Sydney and Anna) whom she loved as her own. Pauline will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, an excellent cook/waitress with the best comic wit and timing in whichever room she graced. Her husband Hubert Roberts preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one infant brother. Survivors include: Two sisters: Leota Linton of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; Phyllis Shelton of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; Two brothers: Willie Killian of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; Charles Killian and his wife Ann of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; Three children: Paula Mae and her husband Steve Carrick of Denton, North Carolina; Brenda Joyce and her husband Perry Shelton of Altus, Oklahoma; Dewayne Roberts of Elgin, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Johnny Paul Carrick, Patricia Joyce (Shelton) O'Hair, Melissa Lynn (Shelton) Camp, Kerri Ann (Carrick) Brewer, Meredith Michelle (Roberts) Strambler, Samuel Perry Shelton, Joel Lee Shelton, Arlen Bliss Roberts and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She will be missed as well as her humor and antics. Now, as Pauline would say"I'm going to smoke this cigarette and go on home."
