Paul Leo Lebel, Jr passed away on March 26, 2024 in his home in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 62. He was born to Paul Leo Lebel and Janet Marie Stevens on October 2, 1961, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
As a teen, Paul lived in North Carolina, where he worked in tobacco fields until he joined his father traveling the country working in construction. In 1980 he moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where he married Cynthia Hepler. They were married for six years and had two children together, Paul Lebel, III and Stephanie Lebel. In 1990 Paul married Rhonda Lebel-Regan. They had one child together, Joshua Lebel. Although their marriage was short, they maintained a friendship that lasted until his passing. Paul learned many trades during his life. In the early 90's, he began working in the HVAC field until he retired in 2020.
People who knew him would describe him as a man with an inexplicable wealth of knowledge, as there was not much he didn't know or couldn't figure out. His friends and family would say he was a man who stood tall in the world, a man who was loyal, honest, and caring. He would do anything to help his family and friends no matter the cost, earning him the nickname, Tall Paul. Paul enjoyed cooking and in his later years would often smoke brisket or make his homemade pizza for events with family and friends. Paul was an amazing father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who always had an open ear or a shoulder to lean on anytime it was needed. Paul will be dearly missed by his loved ones, but having known the Lord, he now sits in Heaven with his perfect lungs waiting for us.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Lebel III, daughter, Stephanie Lebel, son, Joshua Lebel, stepson, Michael Gregston, stepson, James Mason, stepson, Cameron Mason, brother, Gary Lebel, sister, Michele Matthews, sister, Tina Cvetko Collins, sister, Trisha Cvetko, brother, Bobby Cvetko, brother, Rod Lebel, and his grandchildren, Logan Lebel, Brooklyn Lebel, Paul Lebel, IV, Hendrix Lebel, Galax Kabar, and Ares Nesbit.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Stevens, sister, Cheryl Lebel, father, Paul Lebel, and sister, Maria Lebel Summerville.
