Funeral service for Patty S. Lawson, 75, Lawton, will be at 10:00am Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Willoughby officiating. Patty took her journey to see her Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. * The family will greet friends Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home * She was born May 5, 1938 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Louis H. and Willie (Thomas) Richey. She married V.A. Lawson, Jr. on July 23, 1955 in Wichita Falls, TX. He passed away July 18, 2005. Patty had worked at Hagar Slacks for many years, and Welch Oil Co. Patty was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, who was always easy going, and had a fun loving personality. She loved her sports, coaching and watching her children. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four children, Vern and wife Charlene Lawson of Lawton, Anita and husband Bobby Todd of Lawton, Louis H. Lawson of Martinez, CA, Pamela Carillo of Lawton, her brother Charles Richey, Brother-in-Law and wife Bobby & Alice Lawson, grandchildren, Troy and Brittaney Todd of Lawton, Mitchell Lawson of Lawton, Traci and Matt Smith of Lawton, Geno Lawson of Lawton, Crystal Byrum of Weatherford, Cam Carillo of Weatherford, Chance Lawson of Martinez, CA, Briar Lawson of Martinez, CA, great grandchildren, Trenton Todd of Lawton, Tripp Todd of Lawton, Tyler Lawson of Lawton, Braylee Lawson of Lawton, Kaylee Smith of Lawton, Paige Byrum of Weatherford and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, twin brother Pat Richey, and a sister Pansy Payne.
