Memorial service for Patti Walker will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022 in Letitia Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Kelly, Pastor officiating.

Patti Walker passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the age of 70.  Patti Walker, the daughter of Wayne Wayland and Patsy (Woodward) Harris, was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on September 16, 1951.  She grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton schools, graduating from Lawton High School in 1968.  Patti married William R. "Bill" Walker on December 26, 1967 in Lawton during her junior year of high school before Bill was sent to Vietnam as part of his military service.

Patti worked as a secretary at Lawton Senior High School for many years.  She also worked for Roger Salmon Public Accounting for a short time before accepting a position with Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) where she worked until her retirement.

She enjoyed barrel racing in her younger years, camping, water skiing and shopping at garage sales.  She also enjoyed watching her husband and boys race motorcycles and was their biggest cheerleader.  She pitched in wherever needed, whether it was securing sponsors or picking up garbage. Patti was also a faithful member of Letitia Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons and daughters in law, Hank and Amanda Walker, Lawton, and Clint and Melissa Walker, Elgin; six grandchildren, Taylor Walker, Clayton Walker and Dylan Metheny, Zane Walker, Cash Walker, Kennadee Scammahorn and Adam Stiverson; two sisters, June Moss and Steve Hovis, Lawton, and Rita Ballard and Chuck, Walters; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and a granddaughter, Ashley, preceded her in death.
