Patsy Janiece Noel, 75, Geronimo passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at her home. She was born January 17, 1941 in Whitefield, OK to James Oliver and Joyce Pauline (Tucker) Butler. Her parents both had family in Whitefield and the Stigler area. Her father was career Army, so they moved often. One of the memories that stood out to her was when they were living in Japan and the Korean conflict broke out and the family was sent back stateside. Her family also lived in the community of Wilson, OK where she went to school with many of her cousins. She had many fond memories and stories of her cousins. Her last stop was Lawton where she stayed and finished high school while her dad was sent to Germany. She graduated in 1959 from Lawton High. It was during these years she met her lifelong sister Sandy Jaye, who lived with Pats family a short time. She attended OBU for one year before going to work at Sears in the credit department where she worked for twelve years. Circumstances drastically changed in her life and she moved to Wichita Falls for a few years, working for an oil company plotting oil wells. She returned to Lawton in 1979 after getting a job at Teachers Credit Union and remained there for twelve years, working her way up to handling CD's and IRA's, where she stayed until bad health forced her to retire. In 1981 she married Preston Noel and they remained together for 34 years until God needed her more. Though no children were born, God blessed her with a special family, son Jack Miller and wife Penny and two wonderful grandchildren, Drew and Dylan whom she adored.

She is survived by her husband Preston of the home, son Jack and wife Penny Miller and grandsons Drew and Dylan all of Fayetteville, GA, a sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Glen Clark and her mother Joyce Pauline Butler of San Marcos, TX, sister-in-law Brenda Butler of San Marcos, TX, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Elaine Butler of Purcell, OK, brother and sister-in-law Dwight and Pat Butler of New Braunfels, TX, sisters-in-law Colleen Noel and Judy Noel, both of Lawton, many cousins, aunts, uncles and very special friends (family) who were very close to her over the years during times in her life when she was experiencing very traumatic events in her life. To these, I say a very heartfelt Thank You! Especially to Blakeleigh, the young lady who Pat called the only granddaughter she ever had.

She was preceded in death by her father and youngest brother Wade Butler.
