Age 29, Lawton - Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Mayer, pastor officiating. Mr. Mashburn died Sunday in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. He was born September 23, 1980 in Lawton to J. Wesley and Linda J. (Hughes) Mashburn. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School. Mr. Mashburn enjoyed making a living cooking at different restaurants in the Lawton area. He also enjoyed fishing, his beloved OU Sooners and hanging out with his best friend Sweet Pea. Survivors include his parents, Lawton, a brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Staci Mashburn, Fort Smith, Arkansas, two sisters, Michelle Ochoa, Florida and Chrysta Whitten, California, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Gisela Hughes, Lawton, grandpa, Pat Moorehead, California and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J. Norman and Mildred Mashburn.
